Situating Genova Genuina

Genova Genuina is situated at Via Avezzana 3B (44.418858551273956, 8.920556960913373) in a century old 'Palazzo' on the hill just behind Genova's main arrival points: (1) Stazione Principe, Genoa's main railway station (2) the international Coach Terminal, primarily used by Flixbus, and (3) Stazione Marittima, Genoa's cruise terminal. The apartment building itself is quietly situated at a typical Genovese 'salita' - a red brick pedestrian alley which climbs for approximatively 300m with around 80 steps. The view is breathtaking as you go up,. Alternatively you can also make use of a private, external elevator and therefore conveniently skip the ascent.

Arrival by train (Principe)

Exit the Principe railway station and turn immediately left to take the stairs mounting to Salita della Providenza where you follow this street to the left as it ascents. After 50m you turn left further left on this street.  When it takes a U-turn climbing further, you rather continue straight ahead parallel to the railway tracks. After 30m you take the stairs to the right and follow the '3B' signs (right up again).

If you travel by sea, you might come on land via the Ferry terminal or the Cruise terminal. You walk in the direction of the city center and opposite the Stazione Marittima (main cruise terminal) you take the Via Marinai d'Italia up to Piazza del Principe. If you prefer to come by car, know that the easiest is to place your car in the parking of the railways station (between €25 & €30/day - hourly rates but free between 00:00 & 05:00  - info here).  You can tempt your luck and park your car in the neigborhood (Via Avezzana or Via Lagaccio, climbing till you find a spot). You have most chance to park your car in the early morning (07:30-09:00) when habitants leave for their work and commuters come in or vice versa between 17:30 & 19:00.
